This second home is located on 40 forested acres on the east slopes of the central Cascade Mountains. To enhance the views the main living space is located on the second floor, while the bedrooms and media rooms are on the ground floor. The form of the house is a response to the heavy snows, therefore the simple shed roof. The exterior materials, stone, stucco and metal roof, were chosen for esthetics, low maintenance and fire safety.
